Motivated & Determined

As the days fly by and life catches up to us, we've realized that our busy lifestyle has put a huge toll on our health. We were eating out nearly five or more times a week and finally saw it catching up to us. Throughout the past six months, Donavan and I have tried numerous ways to lose weight and change our habits. We tried the "no carb" diet, the rotation diet, and the juicing diet, just to name a few. Each and every time we would lose some weight but eventually fall back into our old eating habits. While each of the diets had their pros and cons, I just wasn't seeing the results that I wanted.

I have recently been watching documentaries on Netflix that have opened my eyes to a whole new world. If you get a chance, go watch "Food, Inc.", "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead", and "Food Matters". These videos were enough motivation for me to stop eating meat totally. I would not say I'm a full out vegetarian because I will still eat seafood, but I will not touch chicken, pork, or beef. A few weeks ago while catching up with my aunt and uncle that were visiting from out of town, I started to tell them about the documentaries I watched. To my surprise, they had already watched the same videos, and had since changed their lifestyle also after seeing them. My aunt then introduced me to a program that they had been doing with a company called Herbalife. She got me interested and motivated that maybe this could be what I have been looking for. I was sold on it after seeing her "before" and "after" photos. So I began researching the company and the products online, and read nothing but good reviews from people all over the world. After convincing Donavan that "this could be it", we decided to leap right into it!

Soooo.... Today starts our journey with Herbalife. And I will be blogging everyday to share our experience with Herbalife as we try to lose weight, get healthy, and make a permanent lifestyle change!
